Four Seasons’s Mexico City and Punta Mita Trip

I went on my first work trip since 2019! The trip was hosted by Four Season’s and Amiko (A Travel Advisor group) and we explore the gorgeous historical Mexico City and relaxed Oceanside in Punta Mita.

We stayed at the Four Seasons Mexico City and just wow! The hotel is absolutely stunning, all the rooms look into the courtyard because the garden is so beautiful. Along with the rooms all the bars and restaurants are off the courtyard and decorated with lights and Mexican titles. For someone who sees beautiful hotels everyday, this one really blew me away. The hotel is also a popular brunch spot for locals featuring a local band and bottomless champagne.

The morning after our arrival we drove outside the city for an early morning hot air balloon ride over the Teotihuacan pyramids. This was easily one of the coolest experiences I’ve ever done. It was so calm and still in the early morning hours. It’s an absolute must with a visit to Mexico City plus it can be reserved through the hotel directly. We then met with our guide to learn more about the Teotihuacan ruins. During the trip we also did a tequila tasting, taco tour, Frida Kahlo Museum, local market tour, and Coyoacan Tour. A full jam packed itinerary but so worth it!

We then flew to Punta Mita by way of Puerto Vallarta airport. Pairing these two destinations together really gives a good mix of city and beach. The property again was gorgeous! Four Seasons just has amazing hotels and really provides a sense of place for guests.

The Four Seasons Punta Mita has all kinds of room types starting with casitas (600 sqft) all the way up to 5 bedroom homes (10,000 sqft). The property sits on 52 acres and has 3 pools (featuring a lazy river & an adults only pool), an 18-hole golf course, 8 restaurants, and TONS of activities. I mean their activity list was so long, we would need to stay for weeks to do everything. We did yoga on yoga rock (overlooks the ocean) and Mezcal tasting. Some of the other activities I’m dying to go back for are helping with sea turtle release, scuba diving, mixing your own brand of tequila and sea foraging.
